Tulare County 4-H Summer Camp

Junior Camp Supervisor Selected

Cody Douglas, Burton 4-H Club, has been selected as the 2012 Tulare County 4-H Summer Camp Junior Camp Staff Supervisor. Cody will be a part of the Tulare County 4-H Summer Camp Planning Committee comprised of 4-H Staff and Adult Volunteers. In Cody’s position he will take part in planning activities for camp, scheduling and the Junior Camp Staff Interviews. Once the Junior Camp Staff are selected they also join the planning committee, and Cody will be responsible for overseeing their tasks and assignments under the advisement of the 4-H Staff and Camp Committee Adult Volunteers.

Cody was a camper for many years at the Tulare County 4-H Summer Camp, graduating to Junior Camp Staff, and last year he was an assistant Junior Camp Supervisor. The Camp committee highly recommended Cody for this position as he set the standard very high at last year’s camp for responsibility, respect and enthusiasm!

Cody, as well as the rest of the Tulare County 4-H Summer Camp Committee is looking forward to a great 4-H Camp this summer in its new camp site, Camp Gains at the YMCA Camp Lake Sequoia, and new week June 24 – 29, 2012.
