You will find this presentation about palms interesting even if you don't like palms! Recognizing varioys palms, learning about them, about their care and their growing requirements all become especially interesting because nearly all the slides were taken locally. You will recognize both the places and the palms. (A slide screen will be needed.)

Spring Bulb-planting for Summer Bloom
Many bulbs, such as agapanthus, acidanthera, crocosmia, dahlia, and gladiolus can be planted in the early spring for summer bloom.

Trees
Trees are the bones of your gardens which can add both beauty to, and inrease the value of your homes. Whether you like deciduous or evergreen, common or more unusual trees, we have some suggestions (and a wonderful handout) for small, medium or large trees that grow well on the valley floor and others that prefer the foothill climate. (This program will be ready for presentation in early 2004)
