Money Talks - Should I Be Listening?

Realizing that teens have a keen interest in money, yet may not have the experience to spend their money wisely, Cooperative Extension has developed a curriculum to address the money topics of most interest to teens. Five counties, surveyed teens to determine what money topics are of most interest to them, and how they would like to learn this information. Teens indicated the topics of most interest are car buying, simple ways to save, getting the best buy, and money personalities. Teens said they would like to learn this information in school, community groups, or by newsletters/magazines. Responding to this interest, Cooperative Extension developed a set of 4 colorful newsletters, teaching guides, and videos, along with interactive games.
