  • located near the intersection of Merced and Beach - 0.4 miles south of Merced and 0. 1 miles east of Beach)
  • Single and double rows on 40 inch beds of CB 46 and the newly approved CB 27 in a large scale trial.
Stop#2 CB 27 Test Planting
  • located 1. 6 miles cast of Highway 43 and 1.3 miles south of Kimberlina
  • A 20 acre planting of CB 27 to evaluate yield and market quality under commercial conditions.
Stop # 3 Shafter Field Station
  • Breeding programs - UCD and UCR
    • lygus bug resistance
    • plant stature
    • seed size and quality
    • disease and nematode resistance
  • Weed and Pest Management Update
  • Update of Blackeye Council Activities
